OK guys, er, gals. Bear with me, this technology thing is throwing me, so we'll see if my entry makes it.

Anyway, I just read that poem "The Road Less Traveled"...and for some crazy reason, it made me think of Bella. I'm not finished with the series yet, just started on the last book. But when I read the first stanza of Frost's poem I was reminded of Alice's words to Bella at the end of the 3rd book when she expressed sympathy to Bella for being forced to choose between two good things. That's a theme in the book, this "impasse" that sort of starts with Edward and Bella's relationship in general and what they want for each other, it's echoed in the fridge magnets that cannot coexist side by side, and noted again with the love triangle in which Bella finds herself. It's pretty sad in the book (so far). However, Frost's poem seems to finish on a note of hope and triumph.

Just my goofy thoughts...

It's funny how the same poem means something different to people. I feel like it means the hardest road is offten the most rewarding. I always ,for some reason, love a challenge, then I wonder what I was thinking??? but the end result is worth the journey....thats my dorky thinking....

i like both takes. i didn't even think about Bella when I read this, but now i see that. no worries, BD ends with hope too. :P
but Bella did kind of take the harder road if you think about it...she gave up a lot...but in the end gained too. :)
